Automatic ultra-filtration unit

The specially designed Saita filtration plants utilize the techniques of reverse osmosis, ultra-filtration and nano-filtration. The filter purifies the degreasing solutions in the closed-loop industrial washes (ultra-filtration) through the segregation of complex organic substances from a pre-treated waste water (nanofiltration) to obtain demineralized water used to recycle in the productive loop.

The reverse osmosis and the nano-filtration are among the techniques adopted to separate salts and organic soluble molecules from the water. The treated water is a applied with certain pressure (osmotic pressure) to force it through the membrane that generates two types of separated fluxes, the concentrate and the permeate. A part of the water (concentrate) is sent to the exhaust or to treat high salt content. The permissible salinity of the permeate ranges from 1% to 5% of the starting concentrate and free from organic substances and bacteria.
