Mist eliminator oil - MIST COMPACT
Polluted air saturated with oil mist passes through a decantation chamber where, due to a strong reduction of flow speed, there is a pre-abatement. After this crucial step, polluted air is directed into a metal mesh filter in which the oily aerosol undergoes an effect of coalescence and the machining solid residue is separated from the gas flow. Once transformed the aerosol into drop, flow pass through a separator with vertical flow, then switch to corrugated filter cell, and finally flow through a rigid pocket filter efficiently F9. The air thus purified is conveyed to the chimney complying with the strictest environmental regulations.

FLEXICHEVRON styles 250 (horizontal) and 350 (vertical) mist eliminators can efficiently remove droplets smaller than 10 microns in diameter in clean service even at higher pressures.
Style 250 and 350 designs rely on separate liquid drainage channels for their high capacity. These designs offer higher allowable velocities and different vane geometries.
The unique "double pocket" construction collects liquid flows in separate channels and isolates the liquid from the gas stream. Because the liquid is isolated from the gas stream and less subject to re-entrainment, gas velocities can be more than doubled in both horizontal and vertical gas flow configurations.

Processes for SO2 removal vary depending on the amount of SO2 involved, the solution used to absorb the SO2, and the particular equipment used in the absorption tower.
Applications with lower SO2 levels may need only one chevron level because of lower L/G ratios or other unique tower geometries.
The majority of applications use a mist elimination zone that contains two stages of mist eliminators.
