Voltage spike protection device for alarm systems - 24 V | ACT-1414

The 1414 24V Spike Suppressor is manufactured by ACT Meters International Ltd. who provides a wide variety of alarm troubleshooting solutions. The spike suppressor is designed to keep fire alarm systems safe from induced AC and nearby lightning. It separate induced AC from every alarm cable that is attached with the control panel. It clamps 24 VDC supply against spikes.

It has red, black and green wires that have different functions. The Red+ and Black- wires across any 24 V fire alarm zone while the green connects to mains earth.

The 24V spike is the only suppressor needed for the control panel.
