This device has an SPD. It also has a Type 3 surge arrester to be used in conjunction with socket outlets.

It provides extra surge protection for existing 230V sockets and protects electronic as well as electric equipment from pulse overvoltage. The spark-gap protection is used with the varistor to protect against earth leakage. This device is compliant with EN 61 643-11 product standards. Three 150mm wires are included.
