Features of ACT 1313 12V Spike Suppressor :

It can protect alarm control equipment and detectors from nearby lighting as well as induced Alternative Current.
It decouples induced alternative current from each alarm cable which is joint to the contol panel.
It has a standard fit and you need only one for control panel as well as each PSU.
You need to connect the RED+ and BLACK across the 12VDC auxiliary supply while the GREEN to mains Earth.
