Single-phase surge arrester / type 3 - 120 - 230 V | DM2
The CPT surge protection devices of the DM2 series are used for discharge of induced transient over voltage (Type 2 / Class II) and, according to IEC 61643-1, offer protection for highly sensitive equipment (Type 3 / Class III). They have an integrated EMI filter filter, and are meant for DIN rail mounting, featuring a monoblock design. They are commonly used as final stage protections, in systems with serious electromagnetic interruptions and discharges. They contain series connection for applications up to 20 A, with 82 dB filter attenuation, with maximum discharge current up to 20 kA (8/20 μs waveform), a 6 kV voltage pulse, with a 1.2/50 μs waveform, and are mostly used for single-phase 120 V and 230 V networks. They contain visual indicators of the current durability status, offering information in case of replacement need.
