Bipolar surge arrester / type 3 / with interference suppressor filter - SPS protector
The SPS Protector is a two-pole surge arrester with interference suppressor filter. It functions through mixing the interference suppressor filter and the surge protection. The two devices are compatible with each other, and avoid any core saturation of the filtering in the energetic transients. Thus, it is suitable for the protection of sensitive terminal devices in various industrial automation systems such as programmable logic controls (PLCs). The input and output terminals offer protection to the equipment. The metal enclosure provides the discharge of the interference, which contains immense frequencies, without any without disturbing other devices within the area. Moreover, the device disconnects the arrester from the mains while maintaining the power supply circuit. It also has a remote signalling option and green indicator light.
