With its two new optical shutter systems, i.e. SR470 and SR474, Stanford Research Systems (SRS) certainly has an edge when it comes to specifically designed vibration-free shutter systems. These two models are built around a unique shutter head and supported by one of the two available models.

On one hand, SR470 provides timing signals to a single shutter head and on the other, the multi-channel SR474 drives up to four shutter heads and is controlled by external timing signals.

The SR540 Chopper is great for any optical chopping needs, including anything from simple measurements to inter modulation experiments as well as dual-beam. It has a four-digit frequency display, analog voltage frequency control, two reference outputs with varying operating modes and a front-panel frequency control.

A five/six-slot blade is provided for frequencies up to 400Hz and a 25/30-slot blade for frequencies up to 3.7kHz, both of which are anodized aluminum for maximum durability. Also provided are reference outputs for corresponding frequencies to each row of slots and the sum or difference of frequencies.
