The YDC-LMA-20/490 is a large-mode-area double-clad, high-efficiency Yb-doped fiber, developed for high-power fiber lasers. Coherents low-index high-adhesion polymer serves as the outer cladding, providing an NA of 0.48 for the pump radiation.
