The Fourier Transform Analysis is an Advanced on board FPGA technology. It is a powerful signal processing technique, which may be used in variety of operations. The CompuScope hardware is allowed through GaGe’s eXpert FFT firmware, to facilitate the Fourier analysis performance, within its on board FPGA processing. It helps transfer of multiple Fourier Spectra, without burdening the host PC in a single PCI.
Traditionally, the Fourier transformation of the time domain wave forms, needed the implementation of the computationally intensive FFT algorithm, on the host PC. But today, the host PC does not need implementations, because Gage’s expert FFT firmware performs the FFT calculations on the wave forms, which may be acquired by the CompuScope hardware, during the PCI transfer.
It provides Broadband communications, radar and frequency domain ultrasonic applications.
It helps in optical spectroscopy and coherence tomography and noise analysis.
It is used in Signal Fidelity measurements.
