This sealed transducer unit is a high-quality device that was designed to work with various applications, including environments defined by moisture and dirt. In addition, the heads of the transducer are made of Delrin, using an epoxy face for the 14" and 36" sensors, with a silicon face of 72". It is possible to allow the remote transducer to work in the sensor head in cramped spaces, with the controller being out of the way. The range and proximity modes offer versatility and facilitate actual distance measuring and simple detection. The RPS-500 card is an important addition to this series and allows various analog outputs to be supplied. Next, the RPS-300 sensor operates at an impressive frequency, of 222kHz, with the 14" and 36" ranges, as well as 150kHz for the 72" range. The sensor comes with a narrow sensing beam, and there are several sensing ranges available, between 4" and 72".
