Ultrasonic sensors with hysteresis and window function provides greater flexibility for your application. For the hysteresis function, the switching points can be configured using similar characteristics as normally closed or opened contacts. With the window function an opposing characteristic is required, one switching point being configured with a contact that is normally closed while the other being configured with a contact that is normally open. With the switching output between both points being in an active or inactive status.

Equipped with Steelface ultrasonic sensor, this device from Balluff is used to measure fill levels and detect objects with extreme accuracy. It is also equipped with a top quality stainless steel (AISI 316Ti) housing with an enclosure rating of IP 68/69K. The housing is resistant to the aggressive cleaning foams. The non-contact sensor gives optimum performance even through mist, steam and dust. It boasts of an extremely long range.
