Penny+Giles presents VPT210 spool feedback sensor. It is based on the most advanced Hall effect sensor technology, which has been designed to serve the needs of OEM valve manufacturers and machine hydraulics.

The VPT210 spool feedback sensor is aimed at the hydraulic spool valve market, specifically for latest generation hydraulics, which are attached to on- and off-highway vehicles. Due to the new machine safety directives, there is a need for an economical substitute to expensive LVDT and LVIT inductive technologies, which demand added control electronics fitted in independent housings.

The VPT210 is a completely integrated transducer package. It comprises of a pressure-sealed housing, which includes a non-contact position sensor. Also it has on-board signal conditioning. Due to these features, extra control cards and separate housings are not needed.

For large volume manufacturers of valve and mobile hydraulics, Penny+Giles provides a complete custom designing service. For such needs, the design team creates integrated packages to suit specific requirements.
