Incremental linear encoder / rack-and-pinion - 38CR
The ELCIS 38CR, is basically a micro-miniaturized low cost pinion encoder. It can be used with racks or CRP linear transducer for dimension measurement. It accommodates a built-in pinion pre-load system with 0.0005/1 mm resolution. The dimensions are in accordance to UNI ISO 2768-mk standard. The base is made of aluminium, cover of steel and shaft of stainless steel pinion. The unit weighs about 230g. It supports a maximum radial / axial load of 0.5 kg, a starting torque of > 10gcm and an impact resistance of 40 G x 11 ms. The unit is vibration resistant and operates in a temperature range from -10 deg C to 70 deg C.
Additionally it houses a LED light source with >= 100000 h life, a maximum frequency of 100kHz, maximum power consumption of 120 mA and a ball bearing life of 1.5 x 10^9 revolutions.
