The Capacitative Sensors are ideally designed to provide an excellent quality performance for very specific purposes and applications. The sensors are built with a very long sensing distance capacity based on the 3-electrode measuring principle. It basically permits a bigger sensing distance than the 2-electrode principle of up to 10 times. The size of the sensors remain small though a single sensor obtains the larger switching distance of the systems. The KXS-Systems are mainly used in several application wherein the distances of the sensors are insufficient.
