The HEIDENHAIN ERN, ECN and EQN are rotary encoders with integral bearing. They have a hollow shaft that can be slid and fastened directly to the shaft being measured. They are applicable to basic measuring tasks and speed control for servo drives. These rotary encoders are made distinct by simple mounting and total short length. These HEIDENHAIN encoders are small-scaled yet long lasting. ERN Rotary Encoders has a 6-mm blind hollow shaft, a 35-mm housing outside diameter, and a compact dimension.
Like the aforementioned rotary coders, the ROD, ROC and ROQ rotary encoders from HEIDENHAIN have their own bearings as well. They are also sealed, small-scaled, and long lasting. They function when coupled by the rotor to the shaft being measured through a different coupling that prevents axial motion and maladjustments.
