The PCE-RGB Color Meter is manufactured by PCE. The application range of the device is quite extensive. It can be used in quality control for colors in production, for receipt and verification of colors being received by shipping in QM systems according to DIN EN ISO 9000, for checking color distances in color tests, for color standards such as in measuring an absolute color value. Color Meter can be used on different surfaces and subsurfaces. They can determine absolute color values (the color position) or can be used to measure relative comparatives. The RGB color space is a basic additive color model which is mixed with white. One color is defined by three values, its percentage of red, green and blue. Each percentage can be vary between 0% and 100%. The formation of the RGB color space has been developed according to the knowledge of diverse theories of colors.

The Coloromat 100 is a digital single seam photometer that permits simple measurement of transmission, extinction and ICUMSA liquid color units at the recommended wavelengths that ranges from 340 up to 900nm. It features a touch screen that is utilized for soft key functions and alphanumerical inputs that provides easy handling.
The unit has three wavelengths as a standard but it can have six wavelengths when it is customized. The use of polarimeter flow through tubes up to 100mm because of its dimensions.
The Coloromat 100 is applicable for color measurement of liquid crystal sugar based on ICUMSA, color index determination of soft drinks and wine, enzymatic procedures and simple extinction measurement.

Automatic colorimeter - Coloromat S
The newly designed Coloromat S allows easy measurement of transmission, extinction and ICUMSA liquid colour units at the recommended standard wavelength 420 nm. The touch screen is used for soft key functions and alphanumerical inputs which allow easy handling for example batch name, user etc.. The wavelengths are selected via the touch screen. Three wavelengths are pre-installed as standards, optional the Coloromat S can be equipped with seven further customized wavelengths in the range 340 – 900 nm.

The saccharoflex 2000 is an electronic relfectance meter by Schmidt+ Haensch that is used for automatic color grading as per the recommendations of ICUMSCA. It follows both the GS2-11 AND GS2-13.This instrument helps in measuring the reflectance factors of 495 nm and 620 nm. It also measures the ratio that is indicative of the color type numbers. Taylors law is used to make the measurements along with an integrated sphere.
A great sample surface has been chosen to lessen the measurement instabilities due to the non homogenity of the used sample. The saccharoflex 2000 requires only 2 standards of brunswick color type mostly of 0-6 to calibrate it. The necessary adjustments can be made over the keyboard itself. It allows measurement for up to 19.99 units. An LCD display is provided with a keyboard of 4 buttons to make it user friendly.It has a serial interface of RS232 that connects with the printer via the computer.
