The Sonocontrol 15 by Sonotec Ultraschallsensorik Halle GmbH is a Non-intrusive ultrasonic level switch designed to detect whether a tube is filled with liquid or liquefied gas. It features its performance that signifies speed and precision. The equipment can function without contact on the target surface of the measured tube. This function by simply measures through tube wall which is the ideal in pharmacy and fine chemicals industries. It can also serve as an attachment in a sensor in order to protect pumps or to monitor filling systems. The whole unit unit uses a two wire system which enables it to perform without being interrupted. Plus, an optional sensor is offered by the manufacturer making it suitable for use in areas with risk of explosion.

The SONOCONTROL 14 is intended for the detection of levels within pressure accumulators and hydraulic cylinders. The sensor allows no contact measurement through the wall of a pipe or tank and is in particular fit for utilization in the chemical industry, in hydraulic engineering implementation or in the building of plant or power station machinery.
This sensor is simply connected to the outside of the cylindrical container without interruption to the operation of the machinery being requirements. Due to the way that no other mechanical establishment is essential, there is no compelling reason to open up gaps in the barrel divider, consequently maintaining a strategic distance from resulting issues with spillage. At the client's ask for the sensor could be finely-tuned on location to meet the client's particular estimation prerequisites. The sensor is primed for operation promptly after establishment.

It operates by using piezo-electronic transducer to generate ultrasound and advanced electronics to differentiate between wet, dry and fault conditions, in order to determine the missing amount of liquid, making it ideal for tanks or pipes with up to 50 mm thick steel, plastic or glass walls. It features dual wires, 24Vdc operation with an adequate current sensor, as well as a relay switch output. In order to avoid problems and achieve best performance, the surface of the tank has to be correctly prepared.
