Growing environmental concerns about our global water resources make Leakwise oil-on-water measurement systems critical for detecting and mitigating water pollution events.

Oil refineries, seaport authorities, water municipalities and power generation facilities are one of the few industries that benefit from Leakwise technology. Leakwise oil spill detection and monitoring systems feature reliable, worry-free 24/7 monitoring, and require almost no maintenance.

The Leakwise can perform numerous tasks including instant detection of any type of hydrocarbon on water, monitoring the buildup of hydrocarbons on water and measuring hydrocarbon layer thickness with accuracy in the range of 1-200 mm or greater. Additionally, it has alert facility operators of oil presence or thickness with visual or audible alarms and messages. It also comes with control skimmers, discharge pumps, and shutoff or diverter valves with a remote or local relay contact.

The FIDAMAT 6 Gas analyzer features an FID (flame ionization detector) and represent an excellent solution for the non-stop total measurement of hydrocarbons. These units provide measuring results proportional to the number of C atoms in the relevant molecule. They feature excellent resolution and low difference in response factors and are often used in applications ranging from trace measurement of hydrocarbons in pure gases to total content measurement for hydrocarbons in the presence of corrosive gases (via corrosion resistant and water free filter, with quartz capillary as the measuring gas capillary). This model is also capable of measuring of high-boiling mixtures and hydrocarbon content at vapour concentrations of up to 100%, due to the adjustable operating temperature for the internal gas path and the detector.
