It provides reliable service with concurrent spectrum analysis and robust deployment around known interference sources.

The dual-radio, 2x2 MIMO, 802.11n, indoor wireless access point is suitable for high-density enterprise installations requiring maximum capacity. The device optimizes traffic flow, reduces latency, and serves as a high-speed mesh access point, mesh portal, or wireless distribution system (WDS) bridge to extend WLAN coverage.

Each of its two radios (2.4GHz/5.5GHz) provides support to two transmit chains and two receive chains, and four built-in antennas create omni-directional coverage. A 1GbE port with auto-negotiation mode features compatibility with 802.3af and 802.3at PoE infrastructure. The WLA522 is capable of detecting rogues and intrusions, and denial-of-service (DoS) attacks. ActiveScan scans all 802.11 channels and SentryScan enables the WLA522 to be a dedicated sentry that provides non-stop scanning.
