Only one or two cages can be used to guide its rolling elements. The two caged design allows both the railways to be set independently of each other which provides ensured optimal load support with minimum size and operational friction. The friction is lowered by 30% due to the line contact substitution with two point contacts. This also makes the SCHAEFFLER BXRT Series of roller bearings very power-efficient, as this significantly lowers energy consumption.
