The MS3 series is a line of motor spindle safety systems manufactured by Jakob. This motor system automatically disconnects the power transmission between the machine tool headstock, and motor spindle via 3D displacement. This tool's shock sensitive components are guarded from the peak impact forces of the tool collision.

The series features high holding forces, kinetic energy from shock load that is absorbed by dampening element, and automatic re-engagement accuracy. The tool also offers decreased machine downtime to enable increased productivity.

The MS3 series does not require external power sources, and is equipped with maintenance-free system. The unit is applicable for motor spindle in various designs and dimensions. Users are provided with high stiffness performance, with integrated sensor for position control.
