The SUBARC 3/5 is an autonomous strip cladding installation equipment to make a fine metal surface on non-alloyed or low-alloyed base low cost materials. Manufactured by Air Liquide, this process allows the production of large units such as heat exchangers, chemical storage tanks and others that can be used in adverse environments at a cheaper cost as opposed to changing them. The use of strips with widths from 30-80mm and 0.5mm in thickness allows for the reduction of weld passes as the system is fully automated.
