Hand-held weld checkers have been designed to provide quick, precise and comprehensive measurements of the welding process. The MM-380A weld checker utilises a weld through sensor and measures current, voltage and force simultaneously between the electrodes.
This weld checker also features a 5” color display, which provides precise graphical displays of waveform time and amplitude, in addition to numeric peak and average values. Measurement setup, waveform analysis and menu navigation is very straightforward, and achieved using a rotary encoder. Waveforms and data can be output through an optional in printer or via COM port for screen capture and data collection.

The ALL NEW DC29 linear DC resistance welding control is a 200-4000 Amp linear DC control with four feedback modes designed to adapt to part and process variables. Weld energy may be programmed in current, voltage, power, or V-A, in increments as short as .01 milliseconds making this spot welder ideal for small applications in the electronic component and battery pack markets.
A successor to model DC25, DC29 features a variety of updates, including greatly improved waveform control and faster rise time, as well as new side-mounted buss bars with threaded inserts for mounting weld cables, simplified rear panel I/O connections, and an on/off switch on the front for increased convenience.

Overheating deforms and destroys parts, while under heating results in a weak, unacceptable bond. To achieve consistent, reliable welds of small to microminiature parts, precisely controlled heating is required. This necessitates superior control of the energy output.
