This machine is equipped as standard with an edging feed system for cut-length and coiled edging, with a glue application system and with a two-roller pressure unit for clean pressing of edges. The following units ensure clean machining of the glued edge. The end trimming unit trims with a precise cutting action and can be manually tilted for chamfer end trims. The cutter unit, which is equipped with cutters for making radius, flush or chamfer cuts, ensures perfect machining of longitudinal edges.
A flat scraper, a buffer unit or a radius scraper unit can optionally be installed for finishing purposes.

The AURIGA 1303 | 1304 has also been designed to quickly work economically it is ready for immediate use. This extremely compact (3.55 metres) unit has a powerful module package for perfect edges. The AURIGA 1304 offers a novelty: joint milling in the compact class. As in the larger series, the boards are prepared for edge banding with a joint milling module. The AURIGA 1303 | 1304 also offers great flexibility in finishing with a choice of three modules.

Special edge material is used while working with airTec which consists of a "hard" decor layer and a meltable functional layer. The functional layer is melted by the airTec-unit and the edge is pressed onto the workpiece. Needless to say, the unit control is integrated in the HOMAG machine control.
