The Inline Plate Heat Exchangers, engineered by Bowman, feature peculiar internal flow arrangement that allows the inlet and outlet connections to be fundamentally in line. With this feature, the device is capable of being installed directly in pipework without any adjustments of direction. Moreover, plate spacing is larger and internal velocities are enhanced due to the fluid stream that flows thorough the series in simultaneous plates. The device also offers resistance to against fouling.

These exchangers from Bowman is constructed as a cost friendly substitute for the shell and tube types. It is composed of 316 stainless steel plates, two exterior layerings and four connections of copper vacuum brazed that is combined to create a unit.
