When it comes to heating products contained in plastic drums that are often fixed on pallets, this solution is ideal. The drum heater in this product series was made to reduce the viscosity of various materials, including soaps, fats and foods. At the same time, the chemicals in its composition allows pumping or pouring with ease, while the products can also be used for enabling the decantling of the product into containers that are smaller on the production line.
These items are made of lightweight materials, which are, however, resistant and can be fitted with adjustable quick release buckles that allow easy installation and removal. At the same time, you can regulate the temperature with the use of an In-bu 1 It thermostat, up to a maximum of 90 degrees Celsius. Note that the heater includes a 1,000 W heating element for each of the two heating sections.

The Alper Drum heater is container base heating unit, well suited for all products kept in up to 200 l steel drums. It helps reduce the viscosity of various materials such as soaps, fats, food stuffs, varnishes and chemicals preparing them for easier pumping and pouring. These units are made using 2 mm thick mild steel (for added stiffness on uneven surfaces), with taped edges and coated in highly durable high temperature coating. They are equipped with a 900 W heater mat, with silicone rubber insulation, that offers uniform heat distribution across the entire base. Additionally, the 500 mm thick high density rock wool is used as insulation minimizing heat transfer to the base of the heater.

ATEX and IECEx standards certified Thermosafe process induction heater is used for heating purposes and these 200 litre drums are perfect for hazardous areas. They can be easily installed and safe melting is offered for viscous products like wax, bitumen, organic acids and gelatine. It has a single induction coil that is wholly encapsulated in a cylinder. The cylinder is made from glass reinforced resin that has been designed specifically for chemical plants.
