The space-saving MMA-UV/VIS-SMA fiber-optic homogenizer consists of anodized aluminum with a female SMA-905 connector on each terminal. A high relaying Suprasil-Rod that has a diameter of 1 or 3 mm relays the light from one terminal to another as well as precisely blends the modes.
Additionally, the fiber-optic homogenizer can also act as a mode stripper.
