The PyroCouple Compact is a fixed infrared non-contact miniature temperature sensor which is very high in quality and low in cost. It can be used to measure temperature of inaccessible or moving objects and materials. The product can measure temperatures that range from -20 to 500 degrees Celsius with high accuracy and consistency. The PyroCouple Compact is very stable and comes with a choice of analog outputs and also an optional dual output.

These sensors are compatible with any indicator, controller, recorder or data-logging instrument. They have a stainless steel 316 housing and are IP65-rated. They have a fast response time of 240 ms and come with a fixed emissivity setting of 0.95. They come in 2-wire units with 4-20 mA output, 4-wire units with voltage (-50 mV) or thermocouple outputs (type J, K or T). The PC21 has 2:1 optics, with choice of optics available in other models.
