The LDM301 series are opto-electronic laser sensors can determine the acceleration and distance without the need for contact and reflectors. It is integrated with visual time-of-flight (TOF) concept that is convenient in measuring large and several hundreds of meters and in industrial areas. The equipment has a laser distance meter for accurate and complete measurement. It has switching and analog output that allows the preference of the user to be applied in the configuration. It also provides the easy installation into industrial automation system. The Profibus DP, SSI, RS422 and RS232 are the interface options and it also provides an easy system setup. The equipment is delivered with additional features such as status display, sighting devices, automated heating and adjustong aid.

Jenoptik LDM302 opto-electronic laser distance meters are used for non-contact measurement of distance and speed, while eliminating the need for reflectors. The devices provide quick and absolute measurements with highest accuracy. The excellent measurement rates facilitate accurate measurement both from and of moving objects.

LDM302 operates on the time-of-flight (TOF) measuring principle. This optical and wear-resistant principle is ideal for demanding industrial settings and long laser distances spanning hundreds of meters. The sensor can handle both near and far range measurements on low reflection surfaces, such as non-glossy or rusty steel surfaces of containers or ship hulls.

LDM302 is easy to configure and has a modular setup which provides excellent adaptability. RS232 and RS422 interface options are available.

Improved usability and seamless integration into industrial automation processes is made possible by a variety of features. These include programmable switching output, analog output, setting user-specific parameters, etc.
