Elliot Scientific's E-Wedge™ system is ideal for V-groove arrays and multi-channel optical apparatus for automated alignment. This system utilizes a pre-programmed roll axis optimization & compensation for angled device facets, allowing the user to use the system as a dual-ended pre-programmed device/waveguide alignment setup for synchronous input/output fibre array alignment.

It can be tailored based on the number of axes ideal for any unit. Holding fixtures are accessible for a diversity of V-groove arrays, fibres and devices whereas Custom fixtures may also be offered. The pre-programmed alignment is done by a couple of E220 DALi controllers, that help automate and increase alignment speed for a variety of applications (e.g., input/output pigtailing to waveguide apparatus, laser diode to single-mode fibre, splitters, WDMs and couplers.
