This rod-shaped source establishes a radiation field covering the whole source length, these sources make best analysis capability, guaranteed highest levels of precision and dependability possible. The resultant analysis transmission shows an enhanced magnitude in correlation to point source applications, as the rod source is manufactured with customization, it is versatile for every independent analytic geometry. As there is a distinctive construction mechanics, the radioactive material is dispersed seamlessly along the source, regulating the intensity and varying with requirement for the irradiation of the exclusive analytic geometry. Generally, it is observed that the activity amplifies towards the lower part of the rod source because there the distance to the sensor increases and the walls have to be irradiated at an inclination. As resultant, the transmission at the sensor is completely linear and not dependent on the measurement geometry.

Berthold's shielding containers,abiding to international standards, are one among the best in the industry ensuring excellent shielding effect in all situations. Manufactured from lead, stainless steel and sometimes parts of it using tungsten,these containers completely block radiations and can be easily handled during transport and installations. Unless required for measurement, Shielding containers are generally shut to block radiation for safe handling during transportation and installation. The radiation is directed through a narrow channel towards the detector on opening the shield. They can be customized according to need by providing optimum dimensions ( length- width- height) before manufacturing the product.
