Leica T-Scan TS50-A represents a third generation of scanners designed for large-volume portable applications. Compared to the previous modules this new hand-held solution is able to offer significant improvements in accuracy, better performance on difficult materials and twice the point acquisition rate. It is designed with Flying Dot technology to provide a fully automated laser power adjustment for the specific surface in order to deliver maximum quality measurement regardless of the operator skill. In addition it provides automatic adaptation of the laser intensity for shiny metallic or dark surfaces to provide maximum results after only one scan. The TS50-A eliminates the need for powdering or ambient light adjustment offering substantial speed improvements.
