A capacitance probe is a point level indicator, commonly used for high or low level detection in a bin, tank or silo. BinMaster capacitance probes offer fail-safe operation, “Quick-Set” calibration, plus interference-free operation – working far below the RF level of 9 KHz at just 6 KHz – so they will not interfere with two-way radios or other equipment operating in the radio spectrum. Standard features include a triple-thread, screw-off cover to allow easy access to internal components, dual conduit entries to simplify wiring, and an FDA-recognized powder coat finish. The dual time delay feature allows the user to set flexible time delays up to 30 seconds for covered and uncovered conditions. In addition, This equipment features a simple “quick set” calibration and fail-safe operation including a visual LED to indicate sensor status.

They feature simple “quick set” calibration and fail-safe operation including a visual LED to indicate the sensor status. Accurate level detection is assured even in dusty, sticky or clinging materials by the PRO-Shield feature which compensates for material build up on the sensing probe. They also provide fail-safe protection in the event of a power failure, as well as an adjustable time delay to help prevent false readings. Quick calibration can be performed through a special magnet. The unit allows the simulation of a covered and uncovered condition without accessing the probe assembly or the electronics.
It also has a sensitivity of 0.5 pF for accuracy. A visual LED on the top of housing indicates sensor status. As it is working below the RF range, Pro Auto-Cal will not interrupt the two-way radios.
