Hydraulic Dampers from ACE are self-contained, maintenance-free and closed units that are used for precise control of speed in both directions of travel. The available body diameters range from 15 to 40mm with stroke lengths varying up to 800mm. These hydraulic dampers feature single- or double-acting versions. Various end fitting are available for easier installation and operation of these units.The single-acting models provide damping effects in one direction, with free return in the opposite direction. The rod can be pulled out fully and turned to achieve the desired damping speed. The lock-up of the unit is prevented by an anti-lock guard that allows adjustment at any damping rate.
