The standard version is designed to accommodate standard parts and spares. For instance, the groove (wxd = 6x6.5mm) provided accommodates DIN M5 screws, while the central bore channel (φ = 8.5 mm) accommodates direct tapping of M10 thread and the outer bore channels (φ = 4.2 mm) can house M5 thread. With little variation, all these parts also accommodates variants, for e.g., the groove can accept M4 and M6 thread; the central channel, self-tapping M6 or helicoil M8 wire thread insert; and the outer channel, self-tapping M3 or helicoil M4 wire thread insert.
