The CM10 is a controller module that can be added onto a driver. This will create a special integrated controller on the driver. It may be added to serial ports and only takes a moment to install as it can be placed directly onto the driver. The controller can use a direct-command operation or a program-execution function. The direct command is ideal for when positioning data has to be updated or managed at a given time on a PC or programmable controller.The direct-command operation occurs through a CANopen interface amongst others. It selects and starts different operating sequences based on many conditions. It can store 100 programs for operation, thus allowing the PC to keep loads from being too strong. Also, a mini-USB port is on the front panel. It can link up to a PC with a standard USB cable. Therefore, there is no need to use an extra adapter in order to link it up as necessary.
