MOTOX’s helical bevel-geared motors are available in different versions: with a hollow or solid shaft, with flange or foot monitoring, hollow with key connection or with a torque bracket. These motors have angular geared designs and the unit output shaft can be rotated to the motor shaft through a 90-degree angle. This design makes the motors ideal choices for processes in which high power density and angular geared motor technology are required along with torques with continuously high outputs.

The available power range of the MOTOX series of geared motors goes up to 200kW, and the rated gear unit torque range goes up to 20,000Nm.

The RO series from Varvel is a parallel shaft gearbox that is specifically used for fractional and medium drives. It is manufactured in 6 sizes. The housing consists of aluminum pressure die cast for up to size 3 while grey iron cast for size 4 up to size 6. Input modules BSM back-stop and ISM with solid shaft can be mounted effortlessly on most VARVEL gearboxes with only using a screw driver. The input shaft of the input shaft module (ISM) is assisted by two sealed, lubricated type 2RS ball bearings and its the back-stop module (BSM) has two varieties: the solid shaft input which has a ball bearing, or a back-stop bearing uses IEC or NEMA flange.
