The SF 240 TA is a diesel generator set developed by DRESSER-RAND Guascor engines & gensets. It has a disposition of in-line 8 cylinders and a cycle of diesel 4-stroke. The generator set uses a direct injection combustion system. The cylinder bore has a size of 152 mm while the position stroke has a size of 165 mm. Furthermore, this generator set is equipped with an IP 23 degree of protection.
