The AXEM motor from Parker is a DC servomotor with a disc rotor that is widely used in applications like robotics. It is capable of high quality rotation, has reliability, produces minimal noise, and is cost efficient. It has a compact, rugged IP 44 rated housing designed for a silent, vibration and maintenance free operation with minimal speed modulation and low rotor inertia. Its disk rotor consisting mostly of copper and class F insulation comes in two series: The F series and MC series. The F series is mainly used for applications that need a compact and robust drive system while the MC series are for speed and positioning servo-mechanisms.
