Squirrel cage induction motor
Part of GE's extensive range of motor for every process, the medium and high voltage cage induction motors are reliably robust and easy to maintain. Pumps, compressors, fans, refineries, mixers, conveyors, and mills are given lower weight and advantageous inertial tuning with the cage induction motors. The motors are air- or water-cooled, reducing maintenance requirements. Available in horizontal or vertical builds, the cage induction motors are highly flexible and smooth in start-up and operation, with available low starting current machines and anti-friction or sleeve bearings. Use of power factor correction capabilities ensure cost-efficiency and highly robust performance.
