The asynchronous ALPHA i motors represent standard spindle motors characterized by continuous outputs from 0.55 kW to 100 kW. The complete series of motors include winding switching for optimal speeds and wide range of constant power. The ALPHA i spindle motors are capable to deliver high output power at high speeds (Series ALPHA iI) or a high output torque at low speeds (Series ALPHA iIP), depending on the version. vibrations are kept minimal (up to vibration class V3 as a standard option for shafts without key).
Series ALPHA iIT and ALPHA iIL comes with an internal coolant passage. The asynchronous motors of the ALPHA i Series comes in aircooled and water-cooled versions (Series ALPHA iIL). The compact size motors comes in a comple power range with high speed, high output power, constant power range with winding switching, high density winding and low vibration
