The ChainLift, manufactured by Serapid, is a rigid chain mechanical actuator used for vertical movement of heavy loads. The device is a standard-duty system used up to 10 duty cycles per hour. The ChainLift is made of a specialized links that locks together when applied by a force. The pinions slows down when the load is lowered. The links are connected in the cross-axes.
