DESCH complete press drives KASThis drive is fitted with two levels of gears, which can be switched in or out, whilst in operation, via hydraulic clutches. In this way flexibility is maximised. Optionally, continuous operation is possible in the following modes:
quick feed movement / slow processing movement, or
slow feed movement / quick processing movement
The switching point can be selected as required. With this drive productivity is increased and tool wear is reduced. KAS is exchangeable with other complete drives so that later modification is possible.
