Oil immersed combined clutch-brake unit - HC series
The HC series, and the HCD series are clutches that have been specifically developed to be used in either at the end of shaft or through shaft mounting setting. It has a compact layout, thus making it appropriate to be installed inside a gear enclosure. Multiple speed transmission utilizes a number of the models to affect fixed mesh speed changes. The series can also be used as a standalone component for disconnecting operations such as winch disconnects and mill soft-starts.The HC series, and the HCD series have provisions for forced oil cooling which enables high energy engagements to be made without creating any thermal distress in the disc pack.
