The MBZ series of brakes by FAULHABER work as electromagnetically-released systems. The required braking forced is triggered with the removal of voltage. There are three voltages available: 12V, 22V and 24-V, and these are compatible with a variety of brushless DC servomotors and DC micro-motors.
