The QTR Series Transmissions range features an innovative, dual-clutch transmission technology that eliminates the use of a torque converter, and utilizes a Cummins Synchro Shift to enable smoother shifting and constant torque. Its lay shaft design allows for maximum efficiency. The QTR's Electronically Controlled Pressure Test Mode also enables finite control while undergoing system pressure tests. The QTR2500 and QTR3000 models offer engine horsepower ratings of 2500 hp (1864 kW) and 3000 hp (2237 kW).The QTR Series is fully supported by Cummins, with genuine parts and services that are easily available. Direct replacement transmission fits into the existing product's packaging envelope, with no package redesign needed.
