These units are single row radial insert ball bearings. The units are designed with an inner ring extended on one or both sides, and a solid outer ring. The outer ring has cylindrical outer surface while the extended inner ring is subject to reduced tilting and operates smoothly. The outer ring cylinder is developed to allow for shaft mis-alignments. It is attached to the cylinder with an eccentric locking collar, grub screws, and adapter sleeve, drive slot or fit. These ball bearings are simple to adapt to a wide variety of applications, and can be used even in drawn shafts of grade h6 to h9, and are designed to be easily relubricated. The unit is equipped with cages made from plastic, sheet steel, and P, R, L or T seals.
