Tapered roller bearing unit - PINION-PAC™ series
The Timken PINION-PAC roller bearings come ready to install, complete with pre-adjusted bearings and an integral carrier and seal. The design uses a straight axle housing bore, as well as a simple, axially compact pinion stem and can reduce the costs associated with rework by as much as 50%. Since the seal is integrated into the Pinion-Pac bearing unit, the finishing requirements for the companion flange are reduced. They can be up to 15% lighter than conventional bearings, therefore directly increasing fuel efficiency and implementation capabilities. They also ensure an operation with minimal vibrations, therefore directly guaranteeing an operation with low noise levels, perfect for crowded and busy working environments.
