Linear ball bearing unit carriage -
Linear ball bearings comprise a high strength plastic cage with steel load plates, balls, shields and seals. The cage guides the balls and an external steel retaining ring supports the load plates. The bearings can support high loads while having a relatively low mass and allow the construction of linear guidance systems with unlimited travel. The linear recirculating ball bearing units can be linked directly to the adjacent construction or integrated in a carriage and thus incorporated into the adjacent construction. This allows very flexible solutions with a low section height. Since the linear recirculating bearing units are arranged to the sides of the guideway, this gives a large support distance. The main body of the linear recirculating ball bearing units is made from hardened and ground steel and has two raceways with profiled ends. It is screw mounted to the adjacent construction by means of threaded through holes.
